^ Starting pay: $24,322.01 per year, $2,026.83 per month.
^ Additional pay for Active Military Service:
1 year experience - 2.5% above minimum pay = $24,930.01
2 years experience - 5% above minimum pay = $25,538.11
3 years experience - 7.5% above minimum pay = $26,146.16
4+ years experience - 10% above minimum pay = $26,754.21

* Pay Increase of 5% after 12 months of continuous satisfactory service.
* Correctional Officers work 12 hour shifts = 15 work days per month.
* 15 off days per month and every other Friday, Saturday & Sunday off.
* Promotion available after 12 months of service with a 10% pay increase.

Must be at least 18 years of age, be a US Citizen, an Accredited High School Diploma or GED
No Felony Convictions, Not more than 3 Criminal Misdemeanor Convictions in the past 5 years

Physical Fitness Requirement
Female PT
4 push-ups in 1 min. 8 sit-ups in 1 min.&
Run/walk 1 mile in 16 minutes.
Male PT
8 push-ups in 1 min., 12 sit-ups in 1 min &
Run/walk 1 mile in 16 minutes
